In 2004 I completed my clinical psychology doctorate at Univercity College,London. Since qualifying I have developed a wide range of skills, adding to a base of CBT, ACT, DBT and EMDR, as well as developing my skills in working with complex trauma. I first began practicing ACT in 2004 and have attended many trainings and courses. I began training others in the model in 2010 and have regularly run workshops.  I completed the 2 week residential training in 2007 and worked in two dedicated DBT teams in the NHS and currently regularly run DBT groups. I trained in EMDR in 2019 and have practised this regularly since

I am now a senior psychologist in a CMHT. I have supervised trainee and qualified staff for 15 years and take tremendous pride from overseeing colleagues development.

I am registered with the British Psychological Society (BPS) and Health Care Profession Commission (HCPC)  and abide by their codes of contact. I am also registered with the Information Comissioners Office.

Currently I work 3 days a week as the senior psychologist in an Adult Mental Health Community Team (CMHT) in Newmarket, and combine this with my private work in Cambridge.

I knew that I wanted to try and help others from quite early on in my life. After I school I worked as a carer in homes for the elderly and for people with learning disabilities. After I completed my undergraduate degree in psychology I worked with people with learning disabilities and mental health difficulties.
